Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an Associate Power Generation Engineer to join the Solar Operations Team in Florida. This entry-level position supports daily operation, maintenance, and field troubleshooting of large-scale solar and battery facilities, with on-call duties as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and collaboration with engineering staff, OEMs, vendors, and contractors. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Experience: 0+ years
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Responsibilities

• Completes assignments that have clear and specific objectives which require the investigation of limited number of variables
• Performs work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features for which there are few precedents
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
