Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a Sr PGD Field Engineer to join the Solar Operations Team for the daily operation and maintenance of large scale solar and/or battery facilities in Florida.

The role includes site safety management, regulatory environmental compliance, and close collaboration with engineering staff. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Valid driver's license (non CDL).

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial complexities which have important impact on major company programs.
• Acts as technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field.
• Completes assignments given in broad terms concerning general objectives and limitations.
