Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company seeks an entry-level Associate Power Generation Engineer to join the Solar Operations Team. This role involves daily operation and maintenance of large-scale solar and/or battery facilities within Florida, with emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

The engineer will spend time in the field, troubleshoot and repair solar facilities, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and may be on-call for West Florida sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0+ years of experience; valid driver's license (NON CDL).

Responsibilities

• Compares assignments with clear, specific objectives requiring investigation of a limited number of variables.
• Performs work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
