Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician in Prewitt, NM to maintain and repair utility-scale solar and energy storage systems. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical systems while following strict safety procedures.

This role requires reading electrical schematics, SCADA/CMMS proficiency, and the ability to work with remote operators. On-site duties at NM sites include regional travel as needed, with an hourly rate of $25–$45.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certs preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M.
• Proficient reading electrical schematics and using SCADA/CMMS.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC and DC systems including inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear, and high-voltage components.
• Monitor plant operations through SCADA; assist commissioning and testing.
• Follow JHA/LOTO safety protocols; ensure site procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance.
• Work with remote operators to resolve site issues.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS.
• Mentor junior technicians and guide tool usage.
• Execute installation tasks with torquing and calibration.
