Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. The role requires understanding solar operations and electrical systems with adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventative maintenance, and system monitoring. Work involves coordinating with remote operators, documenting activities in CMMS, and leading junior technicians when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or industry training preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M preferred; ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems, inverters, PV modules, transformers, and switchgear.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist in commissioning, testing, and modifications.
• Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO; ensure site procedure compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance; work with remote operators to resolve issues.
