Job summary

Advanced Roofing is seeking a capable Electrical Helper to join our onsite team in Florida. You will support electricians, install solar modules, and assist in wiring, while following safety protocols on commercial and industrial projects.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel statewide may be required. Join an employee-owned company committed to quality and safety.

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Education

• High School Degree or GED

Experience

• 1 to 2 years on the job training in a similar role
• Prior electrical experience preferred

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
• Successful Background Check
• State-wide travel required
• Ability to decipher between different colors of wiring
• Ability to use basic electrical hand tools (pliers, electrician scissors, wire strippers, etc)
• Ability to use electrical equipment like thermal scanners, circuit tracers and multimeters
• Good listening skills
• Fine motor skills
• Good communication skills

• Full time onsite
• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
