Actalent is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential solar systems on multiple active projects. Ideal for candidates with 1–5 years of electrical experience looking to grow with a fast-paced organization.

The role offers contract-to-hire prospects, solid benefits, and onsite work in Aiea, HI. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of electrical experience or active apprenticeship enrollment.
• Basic understanding of residential electrical systems (solar experience a plus).
• Willingness to learn and follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various project sites.
• Ability to pass a basic background check for clearance to work on public properties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and connection of residential solar systems, including panels, inverters, and electrical components.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs to ensure system performance and safety.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and installation plans.
• Work with patented/proprietary products while following company installation standards.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with Journeyman Electricians, installers, and project teams across multiple job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
