Job summary

Advanced Green Technologies (AGT) is seeking an experienced Solar Foreman to lead commercial solar installation projects. This hands-on field leadership role is responsible for overseeing crew performance, safety, quality, and delivering projects on time with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

The Solar Foreman will manage crews of up to 10 team members, coordinating daily operations and driving productivity across all assigned projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in a Foreman position; solar installation experience preferred.
• Ability to manage crews, maintain safety, and ensure quality across projects.
• Must be comfortable with travel and lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train Solar Installers on safety and job requirements.
• Lead installation crews and subcontractors; resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects on time.
• Monitor progress hourly to ensure alignment with plan; adhere to job flow procedures.
• Ensure accurate time sheets for crew performance.

This role plays a critical part in forecasting, execution, and ensuring successful project completion in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Train all Solar Installers in all aspects of the job including safety requirements.
• Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crews, ARI Co-workers, and Subcontractors; Analyze and resolve worker problems and recommend solutions
• Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes
• Check on progress of installers every hour throughout the installation to ensure the installation process is being performed to plan; Follow Construction Job Flow Procedures
• Ensure accuracy of your own and crew's time sheets

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Education

• High school or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years in a Forman position
• 2 years minimum experience with Solar Installation – preferred

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
• NABCEP Certified - preferred
• Must be able to lift 100IBS or more
• Statewide travel is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Adaptable to new technologies and web-based software systems
