Job summary

Moss is seeking a Safety Technician II to support Moss Solar's Environmental Health and Safety programs on project sites across multiple states. This role focuses on developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations within assigned projects.

The position requires interaction with construction teams, maintaining safety credentials, and collaborating to mitigate health and safety risks.

Qualifications

• OSHA/industrial safety compliance knowledge
• DOT/DOL/EPA awareness related to power generation
• CHST/OHST/ASP/CSP certification preferred or able to obtain in 6 months
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Effective communication across levels and cultures
• Organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency with standard office software programs

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS team on project sites
• Maintain and implement EHS programs and compliance plans
• Collaborate with project and construction teams to promote safety
• Keep safety credentials current and up to date
• Assist in identifying and evaluating safety risks
• Support record-keeping and reporting requirements
