Job summary

Kivo is seeking an experienced Solar Design Engineer to contribute to rooftop and ground-mount projects up to 15-20MW. The role requires expertise in module layout, structure sizing, DC/AC cable calculations, earthing, and generation analysis using PVsyst.

You will assist the purchase and project teams and act as an assistant manager of design. Electrical background with 4–5 years of experience and a Diploma or B.Tech are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar rooftop and ground-mount power plant design at scale.
• Knowledge of site visit parameters and shadow analysis.
• Ability to prepare layouts including module, structure, DC/AC cable sizing, earthing, LA, SLD, LT panel design, walkway, MCS.

Job Description

• The person should have experience in solar rooftop and ground-mount power plant design for at least 15-20MW.
• He should know the solar plant site visit parameters and shadow analysis.
• He should have solar structure design skills and load calculation skills for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
• The person should have an electrical background with 4-5 years of working experience.
• The person's qualifications should be Diploma or B.Tech.
• The person should have the knowledge and experience to prepare the solar plant layout: module, structure, DC, AC cable size calculation, earthing calculation, LA, SLD, LT panel design and calculation, walkway, MCS, etc.
• The person should have knowledge of PVsyst reports and generation analysis.
• The person will assist the purchase and project teams.

The person should be treated as an assistant manager of design.
