Job summary

Empower Solar is seeking experienced solar installers to join our growing team. You will lead on-site installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion from roof to electrical, including battery backup systems.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of solar installation experience across residential and commercial settings, plus a year of crew leadership. Strong communication with customers and adherence to SOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years solar installation experience (commercial & residential).
• Knowledge of residential, commercial and battery storage installs.
• At least 1 year leading a crew of 3+.
• Comfort working in hot, cold, windy, tight spaces.
• Able to work on rooftops, climb ladders and stairs.
• Safely handle tools and electrical equipment.
• Self-motivated with productivity, detail and safety.
• Strong teamwork and communication with customers.
• Ability to read basic solar and electrical plans.
• Good work ethic and documenting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar installation on site with the crew.
• Ensure crew safety and care on jobsites.
• Complete installation from roof to electrical.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Collect data and photos after projects.
• Organize and train crews per SOPs.
• Knowledge of battery backup installation.
• Deliver projects within timeframes and budgets.
• Quality assurance and crew safety emphasis.
• Delegate tasks and resolve crew issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
