Job summary

IS International Services seeks an on-site Safety Manager to support a solar field project at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The role requires dedication to daily safety oversight, hazard identification, and timely corrective actions.

A dedicated Safety Manager will be on-site during construction hours, with overtime only as needed. Responsibilities include toolbox talks, safety guidance, documentation, and JHA development/review, with daily safety reports and incident tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety oversight on large-site projects.
• OSHA 30 or higher certifications preferred (CHST, CSP or equivalent).
• Solar or industrial project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily jobsite safety during active construction.
• Perform safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Coordinate corrective actions with site teams.
• Conduct toolbox talks and provide safety guidance.
• Maintain safety documentation and review JHA.
• Prepare daily safety reports and incident logs; weekly summaries if requested.
