Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is hiring a Construction Performance Engineer to drive data-informed decisions across utility-scale solar projects. You will analyze productivity, labor costs, and schedule performance to enable field teams to mitigate risks and optimize execution on the jobsite.

This full-time, site-based role supports the Project Controls and Scheduling team, delivering dashboards and forecasts, applying EVM principles, and coaching field personnel on

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, project controls, estimating, scheduling, or project management within industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
• Proficient in Excel with formulas, pivot tables and data summarization techniques.
• Ability to interpret construction or project data to support decision making.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Experience using data to support forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction performance data to identify productivity trends, risks, and opportunities across utility-scale solar projects.
• Develop and deliver actionable reporting and dashboards with real-time visibility into installation progress and labor performance.
• Track labor productivity, installation rates, labor costs, and workforce utilization across scopes to support decisions.
• Ensure accurate labor charging, timekeeping, progress tracking, and data integrity for cost and performance visibility.
• Build forecasts and predictive analytics to identify schedule, productivity, staffing, and cost risks.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate cost and schedule performance.
• Conduct time studies and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity gains.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting quality, and transparency.
• Train field personnel on productivity measurement and reporting tools.
