Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a Commercial Counsel – Inverter and Battery to support contract review, manage disputes and negotiate solar inverter and storage agreements for Sungrow USA. You will advise on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters and work with internal teams and outside counsel.

The role requires a JD, US bar admission, and 8+ years in commercial contracts within the solar sector, with OEM inverter/battery experience, and allows remote work within the USA.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admitted to a US state bar in good standing.
• Significant experience in commercial contract review and negotiation in the solar sector.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and draft solar inverter and storage contracts, service agreements and warranties.
• Advise on claims and disputes with customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Advise internal clients on regulatory compliance and business risks.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and customers on legal matters.
• Assist with corporate and governance matters and manage external counsel.
