Position Overview

Title: In-House Counsel

Reporting To: Legal Director (in Texas) and possible General Counsel on select matters

Employment Type: Full time

Location: remote, or onsite in Texas

Role Purpose

The In-House Counsel will provide day to day legal support across commercial contracting, supply chain, and trade and regulatory compliance, related to solar module manufacturing and sales.

Core Responsibilities

• Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including MSAs, supply agreements, purchase orders, NDAs, and logistics contracts.
• Supporting trade, tariff, and customs matters including AD CVD and related import compliance issues.
• Advising on solar module manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution issues.
• Supporting domestic content, FEOC, and tax credit related certifications and compliance efforts.
• Handling routine legal matters currently outsourced to outside counsel.
• Coordinating with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed.
• Advising on Intellectual Property matters.

Candidate Profile

• Juris Doctor and active U.S. bar admission
• Prior in-house experience preferred
• Ideally with experience in Solar manufacturing or manufacturing industry.
• Intellectual Property experience is plus but not required.
