Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Production Technician to operate solar cell production equipment and support quality control at our growing facility in Texas. The role emphasizes process monitoring, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and cleanroom standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in hands-on manufacturing, ability to read technical documents, and strong problem-solving skills in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute skilled operations and monitor processes on solar cell production equipment.
• Monitor process parameters, identify deviations, and perform basic troubleshooting to maintain yield and throughput.
• Perform in-process inspections, data logging and quality control checks (PL, AOI, IV testing).
• Support root cause analysis for process issues and implement corrective actions with engineering.
• Load/unload AGV carriers, change consumables, and assist with setup and changeovers.
• Ensure safety, quality and cleanroom standards while handling chemicals and gases.
• Train production associates and contribute to continuous manufacturing improvements.
• Track production metrics and maintain records in MES.
