Zusammenfassung

The AES Corporation is seeking an energetic CAD professional with 2+ years in the renewables sector to draft and design solar PV and BESS projects. You will create single-line diagrams, site plans, and layouts for early-stage designs, focusing on 2–5 MW distributed generation and community solar sites.

Preferred locations include Salt Lake City, UT; travel up to 10% to project sites and partner offices may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 2 year AAS degree in CAD or equivalent.
• 2+ years of drafting/design experience in solar PV or renewables.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with solar PV layouts.
• Knowledge of civil and grading design and electrical diagrams.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with Development Engineers to produce preliminary AutoCAD site plans and design packages.
• Generate drawings aligned with company standards and templates.
• Ensure quality with code-compliant, complete drawings.
• Communicate proactively with project team and generate BOMs from CAD drawings.
• Provide electrical construction details for PV and BESS systems.
