Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Soils Laboratory Technician for the Fort Worth team. You’ll learn under experienced staff, performing basic soil and material tests and assisting with sample prep and testing procedures.

No prior experience is required as you receive paid training and guidance. Certification expenses are covered, with opportunities to grow through earned certifications and expanded responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Basic lab work for soils and construction materials.
• Data recording and organization of results.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic laboratory tests on soil and construction material samples under supervision.
• Assists with sample preparation and testing procedures.
• Compiles test results, inputs data, and handles data processing and admin duties.
• Maintains a clean, organized lab space and supports calibration/maintenance of equipment.
• Notifies supervisors about damaged or missing equipment.
• Supports additional lab functions and occasional fieldwork as needed.
