You will perform construction materials testing, field observations, density testing, concrete sampling, and report generation while ensuring compliance with project specs and standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a full-time schedule with hourly

Qualifications

• Requires 1–3 years of construction materials testing/inspection experience.
• High school diploma or GED; preferred associate degree.
• Must be able to read/interpret plans, specs, and testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests and inspections of soils, aggregates, concrete, and other materials.
• Conduct nuclear density gauge testing for soils/aggregates and density measurements.
• Monitor concrete placement, casting cylinders, and perform slump/air-content tests.
• Document field observations, test locations, weather, quantities, and issues.
• Prepare timely field reports and communicate findings to project team.
• Operate testing equipment safely on active construction sites.
