Qualifications

• Geotechnical soils laboratory testing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of testing procedures, standards, equipment, and QA/QC practices.
• Ability to train and provide technical guidance to others.
• Ability to travel as needed to support projects and offices.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee geotechnical soils laboratory testing (gradations, Atterberg limits, compaction, swell, consolidation, triaxial strength, direct shear).
• Coordinate and prioritize laboratory work based on project needs and deadlines.
• Monitor testing progress and communicate issues to engineers and managers.
• Review testing documentation for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot testing procedures and equipment.
