CNH Industrial in New Holland, PA invites a Soil & Crop Modeling Engineering Intern to join the SCM team. You will work on virtual crop and soil models, DEM/CFD/MBD workflows, and validation activities under experienced engineers, contributing directly to CNH harvesting technology.

Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering degrees, with interest in simulation, programming and API development; internship runs May–August with on-site housing support and mentorship.

Qualifications

Pursuing or having completed degrees in engineering or related fields.
Strong interest in simulation and modeling.
Willingness to work on campus-based internship programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate virtual crop flow models for combine harvesting systems using DEM.
Enhance simulation model physics through programming and API development.
Conduct laboratory measurements of crop properties and process data for model validation.
Expand library of virtual crop models for threshing and grain handling in CNH harvesters.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support design, validation, and improvement of CNH equipment.

Education

Associates/Technical/Bachelor's/Post-graduate degree in Agricultural/Mechanical/Chemical/Engineering Mechanics/Materials/Bioresource/Agronomy
