Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a Lab/Field Testing Technician to support soils and concrete testing in a laboratory and at field sites. You will perform basic lab tests and assist with field sampling, ensuring compliance with project specs and safety requirements.

Experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. The role demands lifting up to 50 lbs, weekend/extended hours as needed, and willingness to travel to remote sites; a valid driving

Qualifications

• FDOT/CTQP/ACI laboratory testing certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
• Ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed.
• Excellent driving record within company standards.
• Must pass background screening including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory testing such as organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens.
• Conduct field activities including soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and general construction tasks.
