Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform soil and concrete tests at multiple construction sites daily. Full-time position with training provided; prior construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to walk up and down slopes and/or on uneven terrain.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours, as needed.
• Excellent driving record within company standards.
• Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing and physical exam.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil and concrete tests at multiple construction sites in the Sarasota area.
• Assist with field sampling and testing procedures.
• Record data accurately and maintain field notebooks and equipment.
