Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Engineering Technician for full-time soil and concrete testing at Southwest Florida construction sites. The role prefers candidates with construction experience and ability to read and interpret plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to walk on slopes and uneven terrain.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat/cold for 8–12 hours/day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
• Excellent driving record within company standards.
• Must pass background screening including criminal history, vehicle check, drug testing and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil and concrete testing at various Southwest Florida construction sites.
• Read and interpret construction plans.
• Support field operations out of Ardaman's Fort Myers, FL office.
• Occasional night and weekend work may be required.
• Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.
