Job summary

RK&K seeks an SOI-qualified architectural historian in Texas to join our team of historians, archaeologists, and environmental planners. The role focuses on historic surveys, context studies, and compliance with Section 106 and NHPA, with responsibilities spanning proposal development, project supervision, and client advisement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architectural History, History, Historic Preservation or closely related field.
• 8–15 years architectural experience in Texas.
• 5+ years architectural project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete historic architectural surveys and context studies across Texas.
• Develop proposals and oversee field staff; QA/QC reports.
• Advise on Section 106 compliance and NHPA requirements for projects.
• Draft Section 106 agreements and contribute to NEPA documents.
