Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a SOI Design Engineering Intern in Greensboro to work on designing multiple RF blocks, simulating EM models, and delivering performance within constraints. The role offers hands-on lab experience and exposure to upper management.

The internship focuses on SOI/CMOS design, HFSS modeling, and collaboration with a skilled team. A MS/PhD candidate with strong GPAs and coursework in analog/RF is preferred, with mentoring and growth opportunities available.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
• Software exposure: Cadence, ADS or AWR, FEM or HFSS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-Starter with good communication skills.
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information.
• Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products.
• Ability to enjoy working in fast paced work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Contributing to the design of multiple functional blocks including LNA and RF Switches using SOI and CMOS.
• Generating and simulating EM models in HFSS for silicon design integration and validation.
• Meeting performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule.
• Working as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data.
• Working with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data.

Skyworks' SOI Design Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Required Experience and Skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
