Job summary

Leap in SoHo is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our premium lifestyle retail environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead sales performance, coach a high-performing team, and cultivate exceptional customer experiences while representing the Leap brand.

This role focuses on consultative selling, partnership development, and daily store leadership to drive business results and maintain brand standards in a premium, client-focused setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail leadership experience in boutique, premium, specialty, or customer-focused retail.
• Proven ability to drive sales and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen with ability to interpret performance metrics.
• Hands-on leadership on the sales floor and coaching skills.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and performance development.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
• Oversees daily sales floor standards and store presentation.
• Experience with Shopify, Endear CRM, Slack, and Google Workspace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and key business objectives.
• Monitor daily performance, identify opportunities, and execute strategies to maximize results.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with strong customer engagement.
• Foster a welcoming, personalized shopping experience and build brand affinity.
• Coach the team to deliver thoughtful service and product expertise.
• Support outreach and local initiatives to encourage repeat business.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop team members with ongoing feedback and recognition.
• Build an engaged, accountable team culture aligned with brand values.
• Partner with the Store Manager on performance management and talent development.
• Represent the brand in the local community through partnerships and events.
• Collaborate with neighboring Leap-powered stores on market initiatives and openings.
• Oversee daily store execution including merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and compliance.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and maintain a customer-ready environment.
• Maintain readiness to support equipment, processes, and brand standards.
