Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Software Test Engineer for an in-person role at our Greene, NY office. We value a hands-on, collaborative approach and seek someone who can lead test activities across electrical, mechanical, software, and system components.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5–7 years of related experience (or a Master’s degree) with strong planning, communication, and test execution skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer).
• 5–7 years of related experience or a Master’s degree.
• Strong planning, organizational, and detail orientation for technical activities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, strategies, and templates for electrical, mechanical, software, and system components.
• Serve as test lead/contact for projects, applying new concepts in dynamic environments.
• Manage small projects or subsets, including scheduling, cost, and progress updates.
• Perform integration and regression testing of software and systems.
• Document and submit test results with accuracy and detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and new product initiatives.
