Job summary

Unisity, LLC is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems. You will design and maintain automated test suites, create test environments, and perform integration and acceptance testing.

Strong knowledge of UNIX/Windows, test automation, and performance/security testing is required. Six years ofSTE experience and a Bachelor’s in CS are required; a Master’s can substitute for two years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Designs, develops, and implements test plans, test cases, and test processes.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains suites of automated tests.
  • Performs Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing activities.
  • Builds test environments.
  • Creates and maintains test environments for automated software testing.
  • Experience with at least four of: test automation development, performance/load/stress testing, data interface testing, UI testing, security testing, code coverage tools, systems integration testing.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and participates in resolution.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads OS software, troubleshoot, maintain network components, and implement OS enhancements.

Description

Experience required to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems including the design, development, and maintenance of test plans/cases/processes, the creation and maintenance of test environments and automated test capabilities, the performance of Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing, and the reporting and tracking of problems through their resolution. Knowledge of test automation using Python, performance/load/stress testing, data interfacetesting, user interface testing, security testing, code coverage tools, and systems integrationtesting. Experience related to the installation, configuration, management, and enhancement of software applications, LINUX systems, and connected network components.

Required Qualifications
  • Designs, develops, and implements test plans, test cases, and test processes

  • Experience with at least four (4) of the following knowledge areas:
    • Test automation development(or demonstrated development experience) Performance/load/stress testing; Data interfacetesting, User interface testing, Security testing, Code coverage tools, Systems integrationtesting
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Educations, Training, and Certifications
  • Six (6) years of experience as a STE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
    • Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a degree.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Salary: COMING SOON (Annually)

Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
