Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a motivated Software Test Engineering intern/co-op to join the team and participate in the Software Test lifecycle.

You will work with development teams to drive defects to closures and gain hands-on experience across testing domains. The role offers hands-on training in both automated and manual testing, with exposure to Linux and Windows environments and a focus on PC gaming and graphics technology.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a US-based university in a Masters degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong interest in PC gaming and latest computer graphics technologies (3D graphics, VR, MR).
• Programming/scripting experience with Python, C++, and Selenium or similar testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated and manual Test Plans/Test Case with various test strategies.
• Prioritize and manage concurrent testing tasks.
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and triage software defects to closure.
• Create Test Case/Plan for new features, products (dGPU and APU) and new Operating Systems (Linux and/or Windows).
