Job summary

J T in Columbia, MD is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer at Level 2 to support full-lifecycle software testing, automated test framework development, and system integration for mission-critical systems in Columbia, MD. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, automated test suites, and dedicated test environments.

You will execute integration, acceptance, performance, and security testing across Linux and Windows operating environments,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus minimum 6 years software test engineering experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years (Master's may substitute for 2 years), or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with performance, load, and stress testing.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, automated test suites, and testing workflows.
• Provision, configure, and maintain dedicated test environments and automated testing infrastructure.
• Perform Integration & Testing (I&T) and Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements.
• Develop automated test scripts and capabilities using Python.
• Execute performance, load, stress, interface, and security testing with code coverage tools.
