Northrop Grumman is seeking an Object Oriented Software Test Engineer 2/3 with an active DoD clearance to join our Advanced Weapons team in Northridge, CA. This on-site role involves defining test objectives, creating comprehensive test plans, and coordinating with software and systems engineering to ensure robust validation of missile weapon system software.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with relevant experience and an active clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required and an active DoD clearance is needed.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of experience or Master’s with 0 years.
• Experience defining test objectives, writing tests, and conducting TF/TFTs.

Responsabilités

• Author Software Test Plans, Procedures, and Test Reports.
• Generate test artifacts for developmental, integration, qualification, and acceptance testing.
• Develop automated test approaches for new software capabilities.
• Compile test data, identify gaps, and recommend procedural changes.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and support SW/HW integration in labs.
• Work with SW development teams to document and resolve SW issues.
