Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a C/C++ Software Engineer (Level 3 or 4) to join our team in Northridge, CA. On-site role with no remote work.
The role focuses on developing, testing, and extending STE software for our nation’s warfighters, with responsibilities spanning documentation and full software lifecycle support. Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree with 5+ years (or a Master's with 3+ years), strong C/C++ experience on Windows/Linux, and clearance to DoD Secret level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Strong C/C++ development on Windows and Linux (CentOS).
- Experience with MIL-STD-1553, TCP/IP, Serial, and Ethernet.
- Current US Government DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Generate software documentation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain existing software for primarily Windows based desktop applications.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle activities
- Use test equipment to troubleshoot software and hardware.
