Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts for software programs.
• Create automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Document test requirements, scenarios, and results.
• Analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to debug and troubleshoot software issues.
• Research new engineering design methods and applications.
• Assist in training related to testing methodologies.
• Integrate automated tests into the build process and maintain CI pipelines.
• Develop BDD scenarios and regression plans.
• Participate in all phases of the test development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and design.
• Develop comprehensive test cases across various testing formats such as Unit, Sanity, Smoke, and Regression.
• Write complex API tests interfacing with services and databases.

The annual salary ranges from $83,375 to $112,500 plus bonuses, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Java.
• Experience as a Software Test Engineer, SDET, or Software Developer with a focus on test automation.
• Solid experience in test script development, especially with RESTful services and Python.
• Knowledge of test planning, automation tools, and version control systems (GIT, GERRIT, SVN, ClearCase).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Low-Level Drivers, CAN protocol, CAPEL scripting, CANoe, and embedded automation.
• Experience with QT Squish for automation testing.
