Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Software Applications Tester, Journeyman to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is remote. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in a Mathematics or Engineering field.
• 3 – 10+ years of experience in developing and executing test plans for software systems to include unit, integration, regression, smoke, and operations-based testing and developing robust data analysis sets to fulfill the appropriate test rigor for specific testing.
• Experience in Java and familiarity in other programming languages such as C#, SQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing software such as Selenium.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira or similar issue and project tracking software.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence or similar knowledge management software.
• Active DoD IAT II certification

Duties:

• Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Document software and application defects in Jira software or other agreed upon issue tracking software and report defects to the software developer.
• May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, and product designs.
• Work with the DevSecOps Engineer and other team members to implement and provide input into automated test.
