Job description

Job Title: Software Test Engineer II

As a Software Test Engineer II with Cox Automotive, you will join an innovative and dynamic team, pivotal in revolutionizing the auto transportation industry. Work on the country's largest self-managed auto transportation platform, connecting shippers with a vast network of carriers to offer unparalleled control over pricing, partnerships, and empowering users with unmatched flexibility and transparency. Our Technical Stack:

.Net (C#), React, Playwright, Selenium, JMeter/K6, Typescript, PostgreSQL, AWS, Rally, New Relic, Git, GitHub, Splunk, Salesforce, and PagerDuty.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide Software Test Engineering support across multiple applications and system elements.
  2. Understand and execute testing requirements with product and engineering teams.
  3. Conduct architecture and design reviews with an emphasis on test automation.
  4. Design, develop, and execute test plans.
  5. Develop, enhance, and maintain well-formed test frameworks.
  6. Write high-quality documentation, identifying and recommending solutions to observed risks and issues.
  7. Evaluate new feature impact on existing tests and assess feasibility of new feature testing.
  8. Design and develop test plans and test cases based on specifications.
  9. Alert engineering teams and stakeholders about required testing features and protocols.
  10. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, tools, and methodologies to enhance testing strategies.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years' experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years' experience, or 6 years' experience in a related field.
  2. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  3. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably .NET C#.
  4. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), preferred but not required.
  5. Experience with Docker is a plus but not required.
Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $79,400 to $119,000, based on location, skills, and experience. Additional incentive programs may be available.

Benefits:

Flexible paid time off, seven paid holidays, up to 160 hours of paid wellness leave annually, and additional leave options such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, and parental leave.
