Job summary

First Point Group is supporting an international company in its search for a Software Test Engineer. The role focuses on testing BSS/OSS modules within the telecom domain, designing and executing test plans, and validating interfaces and APIs. Proficiency with SQL and experience with Jira/QC for defect tracking are preferred.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform regression testing, and contribute to test strategy documentation to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of BSS/OSS and Telecom Domain.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for BSS/OSS modules.
• Mandatory knowledge on Amdocs Clarify CRM 6 or 6.5 and its Order journey.
• Experience with SQL to identify migrated test data.
• Experience in Interface and API testing.
• Ability to perform functional, integration, and regression testing to identify and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (optional).
• Knowledge of defect management tools like Jira, QC.
• Experience in preparing Test Plan and Test Strategy documents.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and log analysis to locate system faults.
• Document and report test results with detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to maintain quality.
