Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer 2 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, to design and execute software test plans, automate tests in Python, and validate Linux-based systems. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

The role emphasizes test automation, performance, and integration testing across mission systems. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of STE experience, a CS-related degree, and can install/configure software across networks.

Qualifications

• Experience to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems including design, development, and maintenance of test plans/cases/processes.
• Creation and maintenance of test environments and automated test capabilities.
• Performance of Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing.
• Reporting and tracking of problems through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, configuration, management, and enhancement of software applications.
• Test Linux systems and connected network components.
• Participate in security, data interface, and UI testing.
