Job summary

BCT LLC seeks a Test Engineer 3 in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate must possess an active TS/SCI with POLY; CI Poly must be less than five years old.

This role focuses on leading test design and enabling both software and hardware testing teams, with responsibility for creating postures/frameworks and guiding testing efforts across the program. Candidates should have eight years of experience, a STEM degree, and hands-on expertise with Python/Java/C#, Linux, and automated frameworks.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in testing or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited University in Math, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field is required.
• If the degree is not in the STEM field, must have an additional 5 years of Testing for a total of 13 years.
• Demonstrated five (5) years shall be within the focus areas needed by the program.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Comfortable with Linux/Unix command line interface and command execution.
• Experience designing and developing automated test frameworks from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of the T&E task and serve as primary liaison to the government for contract coordination.
• Manage T&E resources and tasks; ensure quality assurance of test processes and products.
• Communicate issues and solutions to the broader government and contract management structure.
• Drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes and evolving T&E status.
• Ensure appropriate independence of the team from the solution provider to support government management of objectivity risk.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and system administration on Linux servers.
• Experience with data visualization dashboard tools like Splunk, Grafana, Kibana.
• Create user stories and define acceptance criteria.
