Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software development, software testing, QA engineering, internships, co-ops, military experience, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java.
• Exposure to .NET, ASP.NET Core, Python, SQL, or similar backend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for backend applications and APIs.
• Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability across cloud environments.
• Identify, document, and help resolve software defects and production issues.
• Support testing efforts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work with applications built using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Python, and SQL.
• Support the development and testing of REST APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to event-driven applications and asynchronous processing workflows.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality and maintainability of software solutions.
• Assist with cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services including Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Participate in application monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability efforts.
• Utilize Git and Azure DevOps to support development and release processes.
• Partner with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and validate solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Working On

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in software development, software testing, QA engineering, internships, co‑ops, military experience, or equivalent hands‑on technical experience.

• Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
