Job summary

IPConfigure, Inc. is seeking a Software Technical Support Engineer to join the Norfolk, VA team. You will work with integrators and customers ranging from small installers to Fortune 100 firms, debugging and scripting to resolve enterprise video management issues.

You will build servers, install IPConfigure software, and document solutions, collaborating with product groups to improve our Orchid VMS and related offerings. Based in Norfolk, occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

> Two-year degree in IT, CS, or related field.
> Strong English communication skills.
> Experience with Linux or Windows server administration.
> Ability to build and troubleshoot servers.
> Customer support experience with direct phone and face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities

> Communicate technically complex information clearly to customers by phone and email.
> Analyze problems and develop solutions, including debugging and scripting.
> Document solutions and collaborate with product teams.
> Build and configure servers and test IPConfigure software.
> Travel to customer sites as needed.
