Baker Hughes invites you to join its Digital Technology Sourcing team in Houston as a Sourcing Advisor - Software. You will lead software sourcing programs, negotiate RFx and contracts, and collaborate with IT, legal, and finance to deliver cost savings and compliant outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience leading IT/software sourcing (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud), with strong negotiation and data-driven strategy skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 7+ years’ experience leading IT/technology sourcing for Software (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud).
• Experience negotiating & redlining software contracts.
• Ability to leverage internal/external data sources to create software category plans.
• Skilled negotiator who can plan and execute sourcing strategies to meet stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the software sourcing team in developing annual/long-term strategies and pipeline plans.
• Achieve cost savings targets.
• Lead RFx and commercial software contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Mitigate supplier risks through contracting and negotiation management.
• Communicate project status, compliance, and policies to leaders.
• Partner with IT stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and track KPIs.
• Lead multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Understand global cybersecurity and data privacy regulations related to software procurement.
