Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sourcing Advisor - Software to lead the software sourcing team and shape annual and long-term strategies for the software category. You will drive cost savings, lead RFx and contract negotiations, and collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and other stakeholders across a global, fast-paced environment.

You will serve as a business partner to IT stakeholders, manage supplier risk, ensure policy compliance, and track KPIs while leveraging data to create effective software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT/technology sourcing activities for Software (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud).
• Experience negotiating & redlining software contracts.
• Ability to leverage internal and external data sources to create software category plans.
• Skilled negotiator who can plan and execute sourcing strategies for stakeholder needs.
• Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

• Lead the software sourcing team in contributing to the development of annual and long-term sourcing strategies and pipeline plans for the software category.
• Achieving cost savings targets.
• Leading RF(x), and commercial contract negotiations with software suppliers.

• Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Have a minimum of 7 years’ experience leading IT / technology sourcing activities for Software (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud).
• Have experience in negotiating & redlining software contracts.
• Have the ability to leverage internal and external data sources to create software category plans.
• Be a skilled negotiator who can both plan and execute sourcing strategies in support of stakeholder’s business needs.
• Have strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
