Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 13+ years of combined software development experience (implied by role)
• Demonstrated experience with SAFe Agile, DevSecOps, and hybrid SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams in design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of product builds.
• Develop automated build and publishing capabilities for CI/CD across sprints.
• Oversee build and sprint planning, ensuring items and changes are tracked in VA-approved tools.
• Coordinate integration with VA systems (Oracle Health EHR, iFAMS, MVI, VistA).
• Ensure compliance with VA DevSecOps Release Framework and code quality gates.
• Resolve issues with VA technical staff and migration of components to proper environments.
• Support creation of SDP, Release Notes, and updated design documentation.
• Drive backlog refinement and decomposition of Epics into Features and User Stories with VA Product Owner.
• Ensure code commits and artifacts are properly linked in repositories.
