Job summary

RTX is seeking a motivated Software Section Leader to join the Ground & Maritime Defense Radar Software Department in Marlborough, MA. You will oversee software personnel to meet program needs in a dynamic agile environment and collaborate with a strong team to deliver critical defense capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, 8+ years of leadership experience, and proven C++ software development expertise, along with active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Experience in a functional or program leadership role.
• Experience in software development life cycle using C++.
• Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing and continuous integration.

Job Overview
