RTX, a world‑leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Software Section Leader for the Ground & Maritime Defense Radar Software Department. You will oversee software personnel to meet program needs in a dynamic agile environment and collaborate within a team to deliver critical defense solutions.

The role is onsite in Marlborough, Massachusetts, with responsibilities spanning section development, performance management, staffing, and policy alignment.

Competenze

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Experience in a functional or program leadership role.
• Experience in software development life cycle using C++.
• Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing and continuous integration.

We are seeking a motivated Software Section Leader to join the Ground & Maritime Defense Radar Software Department. As a Section Leader, you will be responsible for the oversight of software personnel to meet program needs. The ideal candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable technical background, who can thrive in a dynamic agile environment and is able to work well in a team setting.

Qualifications You Must Have

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
