Job summary

Insight Global’s client is seeking a Project Manager – Software Delivery & Release Readiness to coordinate software updates across a large customer population, with a focus on data analysis, scheduling, and readiness.

You will leverage advanced Excel, pivot tables, and reporting tools to identify data discrepancies, organize deployment cohorts, manage schedules, and coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Support, and Customer Delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project management, program coordination, release management, software deployment, or equivalent tech env.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets, pivots, filtering, reconciliation, data validation.
• Experience coordinating SaaS releases or customer implementations across multiple customers.
• Strong data analysis for discrepancies, scheduling conflicts, and data quality issues.
• Experience managing deployment schedules, readiness, risks, deadlines, and action items.
• Proven cross-functional coordination without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software releases and updates across many customer environments.
• Export, analyze, and validate customer, scheduling, and release data using Excel.
• Identify missing or conflicting data and coordinate resolution with teams.
• Determine customer readiness and organize deployment schedules/cohorts.
• Maintain deployment schedules with milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Support, and Customer Delivery teams.
• Build and maintain reporting around release status and readiness.
• Communicate deployment schedules and changes to customers.
