Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a software release engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to drive build and release initiatives, improve CI, and enhance developer productivity. You will develop and maintain custom Git workflows for a large dynamic repo and work closely with software managers, developers and testers to ensure cadence, traceability and quality.

The role requires hands-on Linux experience, strong problem solving, and proficiency in Python, Java, Groovy or C/C++.

• Experience troubleshooting complex systems.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new build and release initiatives, including CI improvements and developer productivity.
• Develop and maintain custom Git workflows for a large repository.
• Collaborate with Software Managers, Developers and Test Engineers to maintain release cadence, traceability and quality.
• Support software release activities, including documentation and impact analyses.
