Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Build & Release Engineer to own release cuts from Git, manage uprevs, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across our automotive platform.

You will build and operate the internal Release Management portal, ensure artifact provenance, and collaborate with Embedded, UX/HMI, and OTA teams to keep releases on schedule and reliable. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of software experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Buildkite.
• Strong Git experience including branching and tagging.
• Experience with artifact repositories like Artifactory or Nexus.
• Experience designing or maintaining internal tools or portals.
• Strong troubleshooting across build, dependency, and release issues.

Responsibilities

• Own release cuts from Git repositories across product lines.
• Manage version uprevs and firmware bumps with upstream teams.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deployment.
• Administer artifact lifecycle and repository management.
• Develop and maintain internal Release Management portal.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on release timing and blockers.
• Communicate release status to stakeholders.
