Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to actively participate in end-to-end program activities, ensuring compliance with AS9115, DO-178 and MIL-STD-882E. You will collaborate with Program Managers and customers, drive best practices, and coordinate across SQA teams to assure quality metrics and risk management.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, defect investigation, and working within Agile environments using JIRA and DevSecOps tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 2+ years in Software Development lifecycle (Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
• 2+ years in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 2+ years of software quality engineering experience supporting AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements
• 2+ years of experience with Software Development Processes
• Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools
• Experience with Project Management of products developed using Agile software development practices and tools (JIRA)
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim/final Secret required
• Employer will not sponsor employment visa status

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 2+ years of software quality engineering experience supporting software with AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements
• 2+ years of experience with Software Development Processes
• Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools
• Experience with Project Management of products developed using Agile software development practices and tools (JIRA)
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required
